Due to the enforcement of the relevant amendment to the Law on Information Society Services (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain explicit consent from users of all websites that use unnecessary cookies before they browse through them.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.
By using these devices, the web server is able to remember certain user-related data, such as preferences for viewing pages from that server, username and password, products of interest, etc.
COOKIES AFFECTED BY REGULATIONS AND EXEMPT COOKIES
According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed user consent are analytics cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, with technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services explicitly requested by the user being exempt.
WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES EXIST?
There are five major groups of cookies:
- Analytical cookies: Collect information about the use of the website.
- Social cookies: Necessary for external social networks.
- Affiliate cookies: Allow tracking of visits from other websites with which the website establishes an affiliation agreement (affiliate companies).
- Advertising and behavioral cookies: Collect information about user preferences and personal choices (retargeting).
- Technical and functional cookies: Strictly necessary for the use of the website and the provision of the contracted service.
COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE
PHPSESSID: Technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the session identifier. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
_lang: Technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the session´s language. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
ac_cookies: Technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the value of whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. It expires 1 year from the last update.
_ga: Google Analytics cookie that enables the function of controlling unique visits. This cookie is installed the first time a user enters the website through a browser. When this user returns to the website with the same browser, the cookie will consider them the same user. Only if the user changes browsers will they be considered a different user. _gat: This cookie is associated with Google Analytics. It is used to limit request speed - the limitation of data collection on high-traffic sites. Expires after 10 minutes.
_gid: This cookie is associated with Google Analytics. It is used to distinguish users. Expires after 24 hours.

HOW TO DELETE BROWSER COOKIES
Chrome
- Select the Tools icon.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Show Advanced Options.
- In the Privacy section, click on Content Settings.
- Delete cookies: Click on All cookies and site data...
- Do not allow cookies to be stored.
- Click on Clear browsing data (empty cache).
- Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer. Version 11
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Click on the General tab.
- In the Browsing history section, click on Delete browsing history on exit.
- Select Delete files.
- Select Delete cookies.
- Click on Delete.
- Click on OK.
- Close and restart the browser.

Firefox. Version 18
- Select Firefox | History | Clear Recent History.
- Next to Details, click on the downward arrow.
- Select the following checkboxes: Cookies, Cache, Active logins
- Using the Time range to clear dropdown menu, select Everything.
- Click on Clear Now.
- Close and restart the browser.
You can accept or reject cookies individually in Firefox Preferences, in the History section available at Tools > Options > Privacy.

- Select the Safari icon / Edit | Restore Safari.
- Select the following checkboxes: Clear history, Remove all website data
